Every winter countless number of birds flock to the San Blas Nayarit are. Attracted to the wonderful climate, enhanced by the profuse mango groves, swamps, lagoons and beaches, that along with the geographic location make San Blas one of the most important natural refuges of the western hemisphere.

Cultural resources

Visit the ruins of the antique customs building built in the mid 17th century the building has a colonial architecture, was built in the year of 1785 during the time that San Blas was one of the most important ports in Mexico.
Ships from China were docking to make important commercial exchanges.
In addition take a look at the impressive panoramic view of the bay standing next to the decrepit cannons that protected the Clift.
They are Witnesses of the independence movement that father Jose Maria Mercado Began in this area. While taking this interesting journey you can listen to the history and anecdotes as told by a knowledgeable native who will clear up any doubts you may have.

Playa del Rey, El Borrego y Las Islitas

Playas de mar abierto de arena suave, pendiente y olas regular ideales para la práctica de deportes acuáticos con el surfing, además cuenta con restaurantes tipo ramada que ofrecen una exquisita gastronomía regional.

La Tobara

Don’t Miss visiting this beautiful place located a few minutes from San Blas. It is a unique adventure by boat though the thick jungle full of mango trees and water ferns that shelter a great diversity of plants, birds and crocodiles that culminates at the arrival to the lagoon fed by an underwater spring of crystal clear water. You can see a great variety of fish aquatic animals. There is a restaurant that offers a delicious variety of food which you will enjoy on the bank of a lovely lake that you can jump for fresh swim.

Ecological community of Singaita

Singaita is very close to San Blas it is an area between the jungle and the mango groves.
It owns a great biodiversity.
It is a paradise for bird watchers and an excellent option for outdoor activities. A magnificent place to identify flora and fauna of the area you can even take an interesting nighttime safari.
There are camping and eating areas.

Sport Fishing

The calm regular waves of san Blas allows swimming, scuba diving, sport fishing, sailing and water skiing, the ocean water in san Blas is perfect for sport fishing.
Every May there is an international tournament where they catch sail fish, sword fish, and tuna.

Crocodile Sanctuary
